This year, so far, the best front commission was from Unidos da Tijuca, the champion of the 2010 Special Group Parade, the highlight of the Carnival in Rio.

The artistic director Paulo Barros, with his creative and innovative work, brought magic to the avenue and delighted the audience last Sunday with a series of moves based on illusionism. The front commission (the first group of parade participants) had a fantastic and dramatic costume changes in a flash, in front of the audience.. The presentation was really stunning… completely new and modern, without breaking Carnival traditions.

More than 3,600 people took part in the presentation, which included an homage to Michael Jackson.
